Rev. Stephen Garman

Lead Pastor

Stephen is the Lead Pastor at Redemption Church in Carson City, Nevada. He has a heart for the local church, expository preaching, and discipleship.   He is responsible for leading the congregation, the staff and the church Board, setting the overall vision for the church, and teaching on Sunday mornings.

In 2017, Stephen, his wife Julie and their son Griffin relocated to Carson City, Nevada. They enjoy exploring Carson City and northern Nevada, golfing, and reminding all their Arizona family how close they live to Lake Tahoe.

Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree (BA) from Central Bible College (Evangel University), a master’s degree (MA) from Phoenix Seminary, and is currently in the final project phase of the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
